How long have you been exercising and what was your daily routine prior to beginning an exercise regimen?
I wrestled in high school and basically stuck to team sports through college and beyond.
What were your eating habits like?
A pretty even split of bacheloresque convenience and nonchalance. The very best that life could offer and an expense report would cover. I was never really focused on my diet.
What is your current exercise routine and eating habits?
About two years ago I decided to try a triathlon after finishing my first 5K run and somehow got hooked. I eat pretty healthy during the week and give myself the weekend for fairly unrestrained gluttony…the balance is crucial to keeping me motivated.
How long has it been since you started working out at the Plaza and what accomplishment(s) have you achieved?
I started working out at PEHC around 4 years ago and since then have really committed myself to fitness and learning much more about training and physiology.
What made you change your lifestyle and follow a consistent workout schedule?
Initially it was just the convenience of PEHC that made it easy, and once I started setting larger goals it became something that I really depended on to get away from the stress of work. It sometimes is the only time I really have to myself.
What do you like most about PEHC?
Besides the staff? The convenience of being able to work out and shower over lunch without having to leave the building.
If I could, I would...?
Climb Mt. Everest…it’s on the list
