The Plaza Executive Health Club Member of the Month for November is Jana Easley! Great job, Jana!
Q: Where are you from? A: Newnan. GA
Q: How long have you been doing your job? A: HR Coordinator for Troutman Sanders LLP- 3 years.
Q: What is your major accomplishment? A: Losing 65 pounds from July 2008 to July 2009!
Q: What do you like most about the Plaza Health Club? A:I love the flexible hours and the friendly staff. The classes are great! I always leave the classes feeling fabulous! I love taking advantage of the personal training opportunity. Demetrius Graves is an awesome trainer and I owe alot of my success to him.
Q: How long have you been exercising and what was your daily routine prior to beginning an exercise regimen? A: I have been exercising regularly since July 2008. It is definitely a routine now. I used to not exercise at all-except for twice a year itch I would get, then get discouraged because it is quite a challenge if you do not make it a habit.
Q: What were your eating habits like? A: Well, not good! I would eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted without giving a thought to nutrition or calorie intake.
Q: What are your current exercise routine and eating habits? A: Now, I exercise four times a week, usually at the gym on my lunch break. I am very conscious of getting a balanced nutrition in my diet. If I eat "bad" one day, I'll mak sure to eat lean for the next couple of days to balance it out.
Q: How long has it been since you started working out at the Plaza and what accomplishment(s) have you achieved? A: I rejoined the Plaza in February 2009. I exceeded my personal goal of going down 4 pants sizes- now working on 6!
Q: What made you change your lifestyle and follow a consistent workout schedule? A: I was steering in the wrong direction and realized I needed to mak alot of changes in my life. I was tired and depressed, but could hide it behind a smile. I decided to stop focusing on what I thought was best for my life and lt God take the wheel. He has blessed me for this decision and now my smile is truly genuine. I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been.
